Does Clemson have a significant edge in big game experience?

Sep 29, 2016, 4:04 PM

Obviously we don't have all the same players as last year, but the majority of Tigers on this team played in arguably 4 games with as much on the line last year: ND, ACC Championship, Orange Bowl, and National Championship.

Louisville is talented, they have a great coaching staff, and Lamar Jackson is legit and the FSU game for Louisville was big, no doubt, they're not coming in here UNtested. But that was a nooner at home. NO ONE on Louisville's team has played in a game this big. Ever.

Night game, Gameday, top 5 teams, Death Valley, 84,000 strong, playoff spots on the line, division title on the line, the eyes of all of CFB on you. The Tigers have been here before. The Cards have not.

Will that be the difference?

If they come in to death valley and beat us convincingly (that is no bad calls like the GT game and we do not implode like 2013 FSU) then I will believe in their team.

Fact of the matter is that they probably will not win and we are more likely to pull a 2013 FSU on them than they are on us.
