that still lives there. My dad gets the Times and the Santa Barbara News every day and reads both. When I visit we always chill together a lot. So I have been treading the a few times a year every year since the 70's.

I respect your opinion if you read it and you know it and have made your own opinion. Fair enough.

Bias exists in the minds of those with opposite bias . If we love freely , and think freely , and live freely ...then we truly are free men .

So the reporter has no bias while writing if we don't have..

bias? Seems to me that there can be bias of a reporter no matter what I think. I see bias in Fox and MNBC, so what does that mean? I like that concept though and I agree that it would definitely be a better way to view things.

I just read things from reporters , accept that they have an agenda or they do not , and take away from the articles what I need ..or what may have informed me , most importantly . Bias exists , but I ain't biased against somebody's right to have it or express it

Years ago I figured out a system. I have the right-wing Drudge Report and left-wing BuzzFeed on my bookmarks. I will read an article about the subject in both places. Where the articles match up is fact, where they differ is spin to fit the site's agenda.

None.
In particular, print media is the worst/most biased of all of the media outlets.

Honestly, I'm not sure which of the 2 should feel more insulted. Guess maybe that's a sign that the comparison isn't that off base? Idk

Actually I think it is an apt comparison

Both have used media publicity to accomplish their ends. Both are "love them or hate them, but you can't ignore them" polarizing figures. Both have created an "us against the world" mentality around them. Like them or hate them, they have created their own new product and are selling it successfully to their chosen audience and, in each case the gimmick is working to gain their ends. I seriously doubt either will be winners in the long run, but they are getting things done now.
