Another injury at defensive end?

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I've heard a few offhand reports today that freshman defensive end Xavier Kelly has been seen hobbling around on crutches. That goes hand-in-hand with something I heard early this morning that there had been another moped accident involving a player.
How serious is the injury? Will it affect his redshirt playing time? Will it affect his status for Auburn? We won't know the answers to those questions until after six tonight when we talk to head coach Dabo Swinney after the scrimmage.
I will try and keep you informed as I hear more, but this isn't great news for a Clemson defensive line that has seen one injury this week - starter Austin Bryant had to have a screw inserted into his foot after a break and will miss at least a month.
However, Swinney told us earlier this week that Kelly might not be ready for Auburn because Kelly had hit the freshman wall and the heavy installs had taken a toll.
Again, I will try and confirm it all and let you know what else I hear. Hopefully, this is minor, and he won't have to miss any time.
I am not saying stay by your computers, but watch for news about 6:30 or so

Wilkins move to DE will help our depth but we are still lacking. We are going to have to RS L. Davis already bc of his weight.

Injuries are just part of the game. If we can't absorb one or two then we weren't very good from the start. Now if you lose 5 or 6 starters, that's a different story.
