Listening to him on Mickey's show this AM,he said that XM was Clemson's for the taking.

You would hope so.

Tre Lamar was his teammate at Roswell; so was Leanthony Williams.

Their coach is a Clemson grad...though I know the guy, he wouldn't "steer" a recruit anywhere from what I know of him.

Still, that's a lot of help. You'd hope Clemson would be able to push it the final mile. The staff usually does.

The question though is do we want him? Does the staff think they have a chance at somebody even better and are slow playing him? I would think only Okudah and Hunter would be takes ahead of McKinney. I don't think Hunter is in the mix based on some of the stuff I've seen. I wonder if the staff feels better about Okudah than most of the talking heads who basically consider him to be a Ohio State lock.

I think you probably have to take the bird in the hand. Mckinney is rated a lot higher than either of the safeties we took last year.

fall for the school in Ohio's trick to lure him by naming the school for him. not sure why they are pushing so since they haven had football for years. ;)
