Another site's saying Clem now has 2 silent commits for 2017

One was before the cookout and another came after. Any guesses? In a perfect world they would be J. Foster and J. Williams, but I don't have any inside knowledge.

That could be known easily, just watch a recruit's profile on any recruiting site. If he is taking visits , then he hasn't committed.

Jordan Williams is the one most think was the Silent before the Cook Out, have no idea who the one that's being talked about from the Cook Out.
Yes there's a reason JW left early and Hood most likely knows, which why he was debating writing a story about it.I'd love to hear what he thinks, but if he thinks it's best not to write it up, he's got a good reason.

I think JW likely ends up a man amongst midgets over a cootalina
HOWEVER it's laughable that he's a silent commit. Mushchump is reeling in 2/3 stars right now and even the cockroaches think the sky is falling. If he had JW he would ask for an open commitment to help build momentum
Likely to happen soon sure... But I think JW was holding off just long enough to make sure someone better was truly out of it

Couple that with the fact the JW sort left the All In Cookout because him got his feelings hurt(didn't even hang around for pics),he probably did give Chump a Silent Saturday,with Chump begging him to make it public as soon as possible.

Recruiting changes by the minute, anything could still happen,but he wasn't at the Cook Out and he seemed to be fussing on twitter last week about "certain" coaches not being interested.His high school team mates ,Tre and LeAnthony are recruiting him, but nothing at this point in time hints at the staff recruiting him. That could change today, tomorrow or next week,but not as of now.

If I remember him correctly, he tried to commit on Junior Day, Dabo told him what he tells all recruits,enjoy your visits,then decide. Within 2 weeks he visited Bama and committed to them. Seems he gets excited on visits and needs to slow down and enjoy it. I'd guess the staff would consider him oversign worthy,just not ready to take him and quit recruiting the position.

not recruiting McKinney is Robert Thorne. I am aware that McKinney was in Auburn last Friday.

recruited by the coaches/schools they wanted recruiting them the week of the Cook Out either.
Listen, I think he winds up at Clemson, but for some reason Clemson is giving him time/room to make a decision that will stick this time. Like I said above,he tried to commit on Junior Day and changed his mind within 2 weeks on his very next college visit and committed to Bama.There's no use in going on about this,the staff might be on the phone with him as we type,hopefully.

I'd assume one is Jordan Williams, I couldn't guess the other. What exactly is the point of a silent commit? I follow recruiting fairly closely and hear that term tossed around. Who is the recruit silently committed to? Is he committed to the coaches and nobody else knows, or has he told everyone else and hasn't told the coaches? Why not just make it public for all to know?

Jordan and Ortre have set commitment dates, both within the next 6 weeks, no further visits.
Must be these 2 IMO.
(Foster is a the only other possibility and could very well be him, but unless he shuts down other visits, hard to see staff accepting a commitment)
I have a hard time seeing how OrTre sees the field anytime soon with these other young cats who are waiting their turn:
- D Overton
- C Powell
- S Bell
- TJ Chase
- T Higgins
- Amari R
- even Adrian Dunn
Doesn't include of course: Deon, RR3, MW, Artavis, Tr Thompson, Hunter
Bigger need is Jordan Williams and a top DB (Foster at DE is okay, but build seems redundant with Rudolph)

get some kind of commitment from these guys so that they have an idea of how the class is shaping up, where they still need to work, etc. On the other hand we are recruiting high 4* and 5* players now and a lot of them want to have their big announcement rather than have it leaked out through the media.
So i think it makes plenty of sense for them to commit to the staff but ask them to keep it quiet so they can still have their moment later.
