Didn't say anything about him being a slot. Just saying Amari is the best slot reciever in his class. How they think a 3* who runs a 4.6 is better I have no idea.

I wonder how many will actually end up at Tenn. Some of these

Kids get caught up in the moment and commit. After they get home some will have doubts. I bet at least 3 back out before NSD.

A rogue program. They will revoke these commitments

if someone they feel is better comes along.
Last year TaDarryl Marshall's offer was revoked in December, 2015 after being committed for 9 months.

UT now listed as No. 7 in 247 Sports top 10 recruiting. Clemson no longer in top 10.

LOL it won't be long before a LOT of teams pass Tennessee in the rankings. When the 4 and 5 star kids start committing and Tennessee gets none of them. You'll fall. Y'all think Higgins is going to ut but you know and I know that ain't happening.

Rivals, probably the most reliable site, still has Tennessee at 29th and Clemson at 8th. I guess you'll use the one that suits your argument.

average rating per recruit ?
While I like 247's composite rating, they give points for every single recruit,so the bigger the class ,the better the 247 overall rating . Yet the same 247 rating system that bumps them up because of number of commits has them with an 86.73(out of a possible 110)average per player, while Clemson's smaller class has a 91.15 average rating per player.

Currently, quantity trumps quality in the ratings, but if that makes the Tennessee fans happy, enjoy it while you can. Check the ratings on signing day next February. The average rating of commitments is a better measure. I would venture to say Tennessee would gladly trade their many commitments for our 10.
