He has saved every penny he has earned which before taxes is 49 million dollars in salary and will be retiring at the age of 29 years old. Seems pretty bright to me.

Lynch is a really smart guy that understood how to control and mold his image. Dont mistake not wanting to play the off field media game with not being smart. He trademarked BEAST MODE before the NFL and like some have already mentioned, he is one of the few pro athletes that has invested a vast majority of his earnings.
