by Bama's "standards," we should be able to claim a national title for 2015.

They just find some Gump somewhere with a newsletter that says, yep, they are national champs. The retroactive ones are the best.

Like when A&M sold out to the SEC and suddenly discovered a couple of extra titles to add to the outside of their stadium.

They finished third in their conference and ranked #20 by AP. I'm sure we have many seasons better than that "National Championship."

1900 (6-0), 1906 (4-0-3), 1948 (11-0), 1950 (9-0-1), 1981 (12-0), 2015 (14-0, regular season + Orange Bowl).

Yes, and there is a great argument that some of their "titles" are self proclaimed. We are doing just fine, and we are doing fine with players who actually know how to read and write and who don't need jobs for relatives, cars for players and/or family members, or fictitious grades to stay in school to maintain eligibility on our teams like the players on many secheat teams. Not only that, there is no suspicion that our players, fans or boosters are from supporters who are living proof that cousins really do marry.
