OOC Schedule and Recruiting

Our 2016 class includes players from 10 states and our early 2017 class includes commits from Indiana, Ohio, Florida, Georgia and NJ. We are now a program that can recruit nationally--shouldn't our OOC schedule reflect that instead of only playing southeast program?

when we start landing Texas and California recruits, then I think you can say we have a national brand. Those two states are almost 1/4 of the Div 1a talent between them.

a showcase, perhaps even a neutral field, say Dallas?
you don't want to pack up your team mid-season, then fly 2500 miles one-way on a normal work week.
a rule of thumb for lag is one day for each hour shifted, that's 3 days minimum going cross country and then 3 days back.
that can be no bueno with footballs on the line.

a non-power 5 team is a showcase in a sticks n stems world.

I am sure the Chad could benefit from scrimmaging against Venables again to ready his team for the grueling AAC Slate. I was thinking of the other guy and being nice.
