How many #1's have narrowed it down to us and one other

school, and gone to the other school?

2011: Clowney - was it basically us and South Carolina?
2013: Nkemdiche - us and Ole Miss?
2016: Gary - us and Michigan.

Maybe I'm misremembering those other two but it felt that way.

Obviously tough to lose when it gets that close but great that we've been in the discussion each time.

On signing day.

Kim had us number 1.. then de- committed. Fir a couple weeks it was maybe 50:50 but it turned to ole miss solid m

I recall clown entertaining some visits but being pretty high on scar the whole time.

I beleive Ole Miss had promised Kim's dad a job and that is why mom refused to let him go to Clemson. She never gave us a chance and I believe that was because a deal had been cut.

DC was going to USuCk the whole time. As Steele told me one day (no really he did) some schools are Clemson schools and some are USuCk schools (he didn't say USuCk) and those kids know where they will go before they are playing middle school football. Said he had no chance with DC.

That was about 2 weeks before the WVU game. If I was able to see in the future I would have strangled him in that ATT store that night.

All before there were rankings, all likely top 10 if not #1 if rankings had existed at the time.
