We are hearing a hamstring issue may keep Mack out today, but I've been told that no one knows for sure if he will play or not. My best guess is the hamstring - which has been an issue for a few weeks - will be tested in pregame and we will know more after that. I plan to be on the field for warm-ups and we will let you know what we see and hear.

What I don't understand, beyond not hearing about this all week, is this:
Why would a guy who's only spoken with the media 4 times all season say what he has this week if he doesn't think he'll be game-ready?

Would you put that out there if you weren't confident in your status? I wouldn't.
