full.. that was the story of recruiting anyhow. Its interesting we are playing them 2 years in a row and he has the opportunity to show out in a very meaningful game against us.
I've always wishes the kid well, but I sure hope letting him go doesnt haunt us on Sat.
I still like the tigers by 10.

I remember that too. I think of that watching a lot of our rivals players. A lot of them didn't necessarily want to come here and get shut down, but a good number of players had Clemson in their top 2, 3, 5, etc. Ronald Darby, Keith Marshall, Todd Gurley, Carl Lawson, Robert Nkemdiche, etc. make me think "what if" sometimes...

The difference with Davis as compared with those others is that we didn't offer. Neither did the coots. That was a mistake for both of us.

guys then we'd be undefeated and the number 1 team in the nation for 5 weeks and playing in championship games and on the verge of lifelong greatness ????

Wow, sorry you completely misunderstood my point. Yes, we are #1, yes we are 13-0. I'm just saying imagine this year if we had gotten one or two of those guys on our roster as well. I'm not being greedy, there's "what ifs" all over college football. Our defense is stout--one of the best in the nation, again--but it's cool to think about what it would be like to rotate in Robert Nkemdiche, Montravious Adams, or Carl Lawson with our already talented rotation up front.
