If you have not heard Col. Skardon's story, please take a minute to listen. It is one of the most touching stories involving a Clemson ring, honor and valor. As someone who came along right after Vietnam and did not have to serve in the military, I am forever in debt to people like Col Skardon and the many others that fought to give people like me freedom. Thank you!

on the Clemson ROTC staff when I was commissioned in the Army. A great mentor and leader.

cheer our gridiron heroes. But men like this and those who didn't come home, we must never forget. Only a few left. When you see one, buy his lunch or dinner or just shake his hand and say thank you. You will be surprised how good it makes you feel. I promise.
