in a few years with Elliot at the helm if he fires all coaches and they open the pocketbook up for big name coordinators and position coaches? It's looking like that is the direction they are going to have to go for coaches because respectable coach is wanting to go to that #### hole of a town.

No, they have always called Dabo a cheerleader but most of the best leaders are also great motivational speakers. Elliot is not a cheerleader, he is a fan. Just believing in your team is not enough, you have to be able to make the difficult decisions and stay ahead of the competition. Sure he could go out and hire good coordinators, I don't think he has the ability to make the pieces fit and function as one the way Dabo has done for Clemson.

2 ways I see it going down

1) They hire an up-and-comer. Whenever he hits a season with 8+ wins, he's off to better things and they're back to 3-9 or worse.

2) They hire an old timer. Might string together a few 6,7,8 or even 9 win seasons (have you seen the SEC East), then he'll fall prey to the "How much time does he have left?" curse and they'll be back to 3-9 or worse.
