Clemson over the past few games. Think our defense is playing slightly out of sorts but hopefully Venables will fix that and we will play dominating "D". UNC is good but they've really not played against a talented athletic team like Clemson but they will be well prepared.

Our "D"has not been dominating the past couple of games,and
the holes are the best all around team we have faced since FSU.
I would think again if you think we win 48-27 when we can't score even 40 against the coots,
and allowed them to hang around and put 32 on us.
Like it or not,the holes are better than the coots,and we will be hard pressed,from what I have seen since the nole games to keep them from getting at least 40.

You must not watch much football. Your coots gave us all they had, they were fighting for none other than to knock us off, and threw the kitchen sink at us. When we put 3-4 balls on the ground and keep our D on the field things look much worse than they actually were...plus that garbage score didn't help the looks of it on the surface. NC is a talented team for sure, but watching last weeks game against VT and this weeks game against NCST, it's clear they have some areas to exploit as well. While I don't expect a blowout against one of the best teams in the country, I do expect a 10-12 point win. I don't care how pretty it is, as long as we get the W. I'm sure the players will be dialed in, and the coaches will have them ready.

We have been playing out of sorts on "D" since the FSU game.
Why hasn't Venables fixed it since then?

Because Shaq Smith and Tre Lamar are not on campus yet that's why Venables can't get it fix. Bouleware has been the culprit on a ton of missed assignments resulting in chuck plays. The option yesterday it was obvious the linebacker had the running back yet he got caught inside. We need upgraded talent at linebacker.
