If .... IF the birds somehow won, they could claim to have beaten both teams in the ACC Championship game.

Which would likely drop us both from title playoff consideration.

Which would revive the now-moribund SEC Superiority myth.

Which we cannot allow.

For the sake of all that is good in college football, there is no other option.

South Carolina MUST be crushed!

Yup. It would look pretty bad if the last place sec team beat both acc division champs. We would never hear the end of that. They already talk a bunch of crap about beating nc, a 10-1 team that prob will go undefeated in acc play.
