Maybe I'm paranoid but I bet the intent behind that was not to give Clemson credit but to help the coots diagnose their disease.

Coached from both schools. Spurlock comes in in a garnet blazer with no tie. He speaks if spoken to, but seems guarded. Not unfriendly. Ward is a nice enough guy, seems a little standoffish, but pleasant enough.

I haven't met Dabo yet (he comes every time I'm not here. It's a conspiracy thing), but Tony Elliot is a true gentleman. Coach brings him by my class every time he's visiting and he takes the time to have a conversation (I'm a lowly track coach, he doesn't need to talk to me). He just gives off a different vibe than the SC guys. Elliot's style certainly appeals to me as opposed to the SC coaches.

**The year Devin Taylor committed to SC, we had all the coaches in the building (Dabo, Kiffin, Spurlock). The day that Spurlock was there, he was standing by the weight room. My son and about 5 of his friends stopped lifting, did the cadence count...He said OBS stopped talking, turned and looked at them and moved the coach someplace else to talk. When our coach passed the weight room he looked in with a smirk (he played on Danny's '81 team) and we laughed about it later.
