Grain-In-Aid Paperwork With FSU

Florida State is officially one step closer to locking in 2016 quarterback Malik Henry.
The 6-foot-2, 174-pounder, out of Long Beach, California, signed his grain-in-aid paperwork with FSU, according to 247 Sports’ Josh Newberg, both assuring Henry a scholarship and allowing unlimited contact between he and the school. Henry’s father also confirmed that he will early enroll, according to Newberg and Noles247. This is all big news for Jimbo Fisher and staff.

This kid is a tad overrated. Sure he shined while he was at IMG but any decent QB would have there as well. After seeing his film, I'm not sold on him being a 5 star. Definitely has some ability but isn't even as good as the QB FSU signed last year. Francois is really good, Maguire is still just a JR and will start next year, and Consentino isn't too shabby either. I have a hard time seeing him beat out all of them in the near future anyway. That being said, he is still a good get for them.
Cooper in my opinion has as much upside as Herring and would probably have been rated higher if not for the injury last year. Hoping we reel in Chase Brice for 2017 as well.
