I'm not surprised. Although, I am a little bit saddened. I remember when we passed them as a program. Dabo took a team and beat a very good VaTech team with Logan Thomas as QB. They only lost 3 games that year. Arguably, the last season VaTech had relevancy. There was no one classier than Beamer. At his best Beamer Ball was feared by all! I remember poor old Brandon Streeter getting knocked every way you can imagine short of out. He did come away with a concussion, though. I digress. Frank Beamer you will be missed! Nothing more satisfying than a Tiger win over Va Tech except maybe a victory over Spurrier! May your golf drives be straight, and your retirement years truly golden! You are a gentleman, and a scholar! The lives he has touched, and changed would be impossible to count! He did everything the right way! Proud to have watched you battle through the years! And glad we don't have to battle you anymore! Salute!
