I mean, what does it take, besides a loss, to remove Ohio St from #1?

The Poles have really been a joke for a very long time, and keeping OSU at #1 after a loss wouldn't be surprising to very many!!!

Yeah, that is not fun. The worst ever was getting up at 1 am to watch the Kickoff Classic of Clemson vs Alabama. 100 or so of my fellow Jarheads laughing at my pain. SMH.

Ohio State has struggled, but so has almost everyone at some point. Baylor is probably the only team cruising at this point and they've played one of the worst 5 game schedules to open a season that I've ever seen. TTU (pretty average team), and then SMU (1-4), Lamar, Rice, and now Kansas who would lose to most decent FCS schools.

A loss. As long as they stay unbeaten, they stay #1. I think that is honestly the way it should be. We should count wins and losses, not style points.

of the people on here were up in arms about FSU getting jumped in the polls last year when they were doing essentially the exact same thing OSU is doing this year. If you were defending FSU last year when they were struggling to win every week, why not defend OSU this year?

I was thinking maybe TCU or Baylor might be able to do the trick with a big win, but neither of them have a notable game until November. If Utah continues to roll, maybe they'll overtake them.
