Some realistic options to succeed Spurrier at Usuc.

There are numerous pipe dreams coming out of Columbia, but here are some folks that may actually accept the challenge:
Greg Schiano-had one great year at Rutgars before blowing up in the NFL, may be too young for Usuc.
Charlie Taaffe-great offensive mind, about the right age(65) & two DUI's on his resume. May be the perfect fit. Has in state connections as former Citadel coach.
Gene Chizik- Like Schiano, had one great year as a head coach. Would probably love to get another chance as head coach, even if it is a Usuc.
Tommy Tuberville-Seems like he has been around forever, but still only 61 years old. May like to get back in the SEC.
Steve Sarkisian-Good chance he will be available by the end of the season, and has lots of experience with mediocrity. Apparently loves his beer, also.
Randy Edsall-Should be available soon. After several decent years at UConn, moved to Maryland, where his best years have only been mediocre. But since he longs for a "real football conference", the lure of the SEC would be hard to resist. He has probably already sent Usuc his resume.
Just trying to do my part to help the chickens in their time of need!

The first suggestion that actually meets their strict age requirement.

I hope slurrier stays another 10 years & keeps dragging them down lower & lower each year. As long as he's there, that's a guaranteed win for us..

Tanner looks elsewhere, like Lane Kiffin or Kirby Smart.

Steve Sarkisian would be the best fit for the #####. He's a perfect fit for their culture, and I can't think of anyone better Spurrier to pass the coors to.

I actually think Tubbs would be a good hire. He

ran a pretty clean program at AU and that's hard to do with that crowd--I think that's what led to him being run off.
It's curious no one else in the SEC has come after him again (e.g. Arkansas, Miss St, UK, etc.). Wonder if he's just not interested in going back to the SEC or there's some more baggage there we don't know about.

Thinking Ed Orgeron would be in the mix

And I'm sure FGF will say some ridiculous notion like..."We're getting John Gruden" or something stupid like that.
I think some crook like Sepp Blatter should get the job.
