Let's take a moment and marvel at how well Hyatt is playing

This is a true freshmen tasked with protecting our star QB's blind side against some pretty good DLs these last few weeks. He rarely is out of position or let's a bust happen. You can tell he cares about being the best and he takes it personally when he messes up. That he's only a freshmen is astounding! I've heard great things about all 4 of the OL we signed last year and it won't be long before they're all playing.

He has definitely played better than most expected of a true freshman LT. I must admit I don't know how good the DE's that are left on our schedule are, but I know he more than held his own against Louisville and Notre Dame (and I am pretty sure some talking head said before the ND game that their entire team including the water boy was going to get drafted by the NFL before anyone on Clemson would--yep I am talking about you McShay).

FSU and maybe Miami and NC ST have some athletes

However FSU's DL has not impressed in terms of getting pressure. He should be fine against them.

Hyatt may be all-ACC this year. His play is improving every week. He completely shut down his matchups vs ND.

It was on a QB keeper and Hyatt took a wrong move and the DE/LB got past him to stop Watson from gaining yards
