Boys, I want to give a shout out to Ole Spud Sr. today. He

was a Wofford grad in 1956, got a Masters from Furman in the 70's, and an EDS from Clemson in the 80's. He will be watching from home in Duncan and although a Terrier by pedigree, A Tiger by heart. He's a pretty good ole boy for 81 years old!

Also,his grandson,Ole Spud II, offically named after him in 1990, now gainfully employed in Hartsville SC, will also be viewinng the game, possibly at Apple Annies today, so if you see a handsome young Tiger, please give him a pat on the back from Spud. And, Ole Spudness, is in Manhattan, about to finish up a second Masters at Columbia University, and hopefully start contributing to the U.S. Treasury, and she will bepulling for the Tigers from Manhattan today.
