28-24 Tiger win. One of the best college games I have seen. All the JP should listen to his pbp
of that game. Also, Charlie Pell's post game speech to team is a classic.

That game, if you think about it now, was a changing of the guard for the conference. Wasn't there for that but remember seeing it here on T-net. Who knew it was the way thing were to be for the next 4 years?

there was a surprisingly large crowd (considering it was just a few hours post-game) at Anderson
International Airport to greet the Tigers who arrived in an old DC7 just after midnight.
