I just opened an account of online betting. $300 is made to bet Watson for Heisman. The current odd is +1200.

Not bad. I try to stay away from gambling on Clemson, but I did put $50 on us at 24:1 to win the CFP. Honestly, I took the moneyline on USuC vs UNC...one because I have no confidence in UNC coming through, and two because if USuC does win, I get paid, which is better than getting nothing and USuC still winning.

I've never been a big gambler, and don't know much about how these lines/odds work. Does the +1200 mean if you win, you win $1,200 for each $1 you bet?

I've always just done the simple point spreads and pocket change whenever I do any gambling.

No. +1200 means that if you bet $100, you win $1200......

When it is a minus sign in front of the odds, you have to bet that amount to win $100. For example, if you go to Vegas and bet the money line and Clemson is -2000 against Wofford(I didn't look it up), you would have to bet $2000 on Clemson to win $100.

wins the Heisman if we are 13-0, starts every game and we make the CFP.

I'm all for it because it is the only thing coot fans can justifiably hang over our heads.
