Anybody notice the similarities with 2011 team?

many questions going in.
Losing key defensive players
Two tune up games to start followed by 3 potentially ranked games in a row (AU, FSU, VT) (UL, ND, GT this year)
2 of the 3 in that stretch at home
Very skilled quarterback in his first full year starting
Stacked playmakers on offense and a great previous recruiting class.

Obviously DW4 with a little more experience as well as the WR unit but still a ton in common. If we can manage to sweep the 3 game stretch like we did in 2011 you gotta love the odds of finishing the job this time as the program is much more established now and is expecting no less after experiencing a lot of success. It feels like that was yesterday..now we're sitting at 42-11 since.

Our D sucked in 2011, lost to the Coots and of course the WV game. Yea we won the ACC but those 2 losses were very very very bad.

the one thing I am most excited about is our D seems to be back. That to me is a hallmark of Clemson football --strong physical defense. With Venables we seem to be back to that
