TJ Chase takes huge jump in Rivals rankings

Aug 24, 2015, 1:20 PM

From #84 up to #35, he's getting close to 5* territory.

I think Chase might be right there with Pollard as one of the most severely underrated prospects in this class. He has a skillset EXTREMELY similar to that of Nuk Hopkins - top notch body control and outstanding hands combined with good (maybe not elite, but definitely very good) game speed and elite route-running skills. He is a guy who will continue to have to develop his body, but will come in ready to play mentally and contribute freshman year. I'd imagine we will have a 2016 depth chart consisting of Scott, Thompson, Cain, and McCloud as starters in the rotation (how scary is that? none were out of the nation's top 125) but behind them we'll be rotating Hopper, Chase, Bell, and Powell.

Sounds to me like he won't be underrated at all

because they appear to be adjusting his rating.

How'd Cornell Powell do? He was the most under rated

How far did Feaster fall? It looks like he is in the 90s now.

I lose all respect for them as they keep dropping feaster. Guy is one of the best rb I have ever seen in hs. He is a top 10 player no doubt.

Once his season starts, I think you'll see his stock rise

Aug 24, 2015, 2:56 PM

once again. I have the same feeling about Zerrick Cooper, I think his stock will rise a lot this year.

Re: just noticed they also dropped...

Aug 24, 2015, 3:18 PM

just noticed they also dropped Cooper, Lamar and Pinkney out of the rivals 250 to non ranked nationally. Rivals used to be a good site but they rely on almost nothing but their own camps to evaluate recruits and that is just plain stupiid.

I think they're feuding with ESPN

Aug 24, 2015, 3:21 PM

ESPN ignores the Rivals camps and Rivals ignores The Opening camps

It's all a farce. It's clear that Feaster is one of the better RB prospects in the last few years with his blend of size, elite speed, quickness, and receiving ability. The only question for him as a prospect is injuries.
