rumor here in Tennessee that BJones involved in cover-up of SexCrimes by players. Hearing that he has lawyered up, and considering going the James Franklin route (find another job while reputation still intact). Also hearing that current players are subject of Feds investigation. BJones makes a "gang sign" in every picture. He has built a house of cards!

GipnRipReb, I have a little trouble believing that is more than a rumor. Not that it would surprise me, but that is pretty extreme. And also, James Franklin went from Vandy to Penn State. That wasn't a move made out of haste

A strong Tennessee program is bad for everybody in the Southeast, mostly because they hunt the same recruiting territories we do. The state of Tennessee doesn't produce diddly as far as homegrown talent so they always, always, go out-of-state, and they have historically been up there with anybody for Wild West recruiting.
They used to strip-mine North and South Carolina during the Fulmer days.
I am not a fan of UT, and a mediocre UT program is definitely good for Clemson.

good is for the chickens to have another loss. The rest is all bad. Those mouthbreathers have run their mouths about great BJ is and how he is soooo much better than Dabo, WRU and other crap. I would rather not deal with those idiots when it comes to recruiting either.

Well I'm a TN fan and Clemson fan. I have brothers who went to Clemson and TN. So I can say I pull for both programs. For somebody to say the TN doesn't produce talent in the high school ranks doesn't follow recruiting to much. The last 5 to 6 years the mid state and Nashville area has blew up in talent. They don't produce like a Texas area or Florida but they do put out their share of talent. Just last year alone TN had 10 to 12 kids in the rivals 250 list. So saying they don't produce talent is ridiculous.

Think it involves this. Definitely seems to be something that could snowball, but while there's a ton of smoke coming off this one, I haven't seen anything that definitively says "fire" yet. DT rumors sometimes swirl outta nothing.

Apparently they ONLY had 6 players accused of sexual assault last season. Had to double check that and make sure it wasn't an article about FSU.
