In regards to police...

Since there have been posts pro and con for police , I'd like to add my two cents.
Police are certainly necessary and there are many fine police officers who deserve every ounce of respect they get. It's a dangerous job and in general I think they do a pretty good job.
However, let's be real here, there are some really bad officers too, just like any other profession. Some are power hungry and not real intelligent. I always try and extend to the officer the respect and courtesy I would want if I were them, but clearly some officers have no business being officers.
Over my lifetime I have encountered some fair and decent uniformed men and women who have dealt with me fairly and when they wrote me that ticket , I deserved it. No question.
But.. I've met a few who without question had motives other than justice and who abuse their power. To those, I'm glad we have lawyers.

Difference is you dont see the internet going out of its way to trash every doctor because a few of them are ###### at their jobs.

I just wish folks would get equally as disgusted by criminals, the blatant disregard for compliance, and the total lack of respect for authority.
