GT @ Notre Dame in week 3. Who ya picking?

How it relates to Clemson....
ND begins the season at #11 (Preseason Coaches Poll)
Clemson begins the season at #12
GT begins the season at #17
In the new CFP committee system, it's obvious that it's better for your team to beat one highly ranked team (ie. top 10) along with a lower ranked team (ie. top 25), than for your team to beat two moderately ranked teams (ie. top 20 or 15). The bigger wins carry so much more weight than a slew of moderate wins.
It seems that it would do Clemson justice for Notre Dame to beat GT a few weeks before playing us. That way, Notre Dame is ranked higher when we beat them....and GT will have time (2 more games...@ Duke and vs. UNC) to re-climb in the rankings.
So, I think I'm going to be cheering for ND in the ND/GT game, but I honestly think GT has the edge.
Notre Dame will be coming off games against: vs. Texas, @ UVA
GT will be coming off games against: vs. Alcorn St, vs. Tulane

they lost alot. only 1 player in the entire backfield has ever played a down of CFB, not including their QB.

Check out their Stanford fullback transfer.
Skov will graduate from Stanford in June with a degree in international relations and has been admitted to Tech’s MBA program. At Stanford, Skov played 39 games in three seasons, rushing 14 times for 25 yards and four touchdowns. He was twice named to the Pac-12’s all-academic first team.

Notre Dame plays Navy every year....

and Navy and GT both use pretty much the same offense.
Advantage Notre Dame IMO.

Like someone else already said, most of Ga Tech's skill players are gone and Notre Dame will field a solid defense.
As far as helping Clemson, Notre Dame has the better chance at finishing in the top 10.
