I was right. I just can't figure out if it looks worse from outside the stadium, or inside. The pic of the DB recruit at the rock on the front page gives an idea of what the look will be from the inside. Where we finally had symmetry in the west endzone after decades of the west stands, we now have what looks like a giant smokestack to disrupt it.

Were of a glass structure. I was down there last week and the photo is accurate. It is a purple gray Orange tower that looks like the paint scheme on the back of a 747. Ruins the traditional brick facade of the west endzone.
I hope it gets better.

believe of all the proposals that were put forth and replaced, this oculus was one that never died. I just figured it was so ugly and out of place that eventually the plan would get changed, but no it kept surviving many other changes. Oh well, what can you do. Maybe it won't be that long before it comes down. I mean the addition to Littlejohn was only there for about 15 years and now it is demolished.

Patience..... If you have never worked construction before I understand why ppl would think it is ugly now. The final touches will be put on in the next 4-5 weeks and it will be glorious.
Do not anger the Oculus....... It is always watching.

outside? That is horrendous. We've got this brick and glass west endzone and then it looks like someone is attaching a metal pipe or metal smokestack to it. Yuck.
