Without additional witness testimony it sure looks to me like he was trying to restrain her from hitting him and she popped him anyway, then he retaliated. If I am his attorney, he walks and we consider civil action against the university for the suspension without due process. All I have to do is object to every white-knight chivalry-blinded white male juror. Cultures other than WASP Males do not coddle women like we do (no judgement).
But again, we don't have the facts. I think folks needs to check their prejudice before passing judgement though.

That's one thing that will always #### me off is seeing a grown man punch a women full force. I usually don't hope for injuries but if this kid ever made the playing field I'd feel pretty good about Wilkins bursting through the line and ending his career.

He started it by trying to shove his way to the bar and she didn't appreciate it and proceeded to tell him so. He grabs her first. Only then does she swing at him and then he punched her and nearly knocked her out. Absolute scumbag.
I can imagine if that were my daughter. Oh boy.
BTW, love how the other young folks in the bar hardly even noticed or reacted to what happened. Incredible.
