Former coot John Abraham wanted on Battery Charge

Former NFL defensive end John Abraham is wanted by Atlanta police on charges he beat up a business associate, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported.
The incident reportedly took place in February at the Pink Pony strip club in the Brookhaven neighborhood of Atlanta. Police were unable to charge Abraham with battery until recently because they had to wait for video surveillance footage from the club.

The alleged victim, Vladimir Ako, told police he and Abraham used to be friends but had a falling out over finances a couple years ago. They decided to remain partners in their beverage business.
Ako said he saw Abraham at the Pink Pony and approached him, but Abraham punched him in the face about five times, the police report said. Ako told police he waited 12 hours to report the incident because he didn't want bad publicity for his business.
Abraham, who played for the Jets from 2000 to 2006, the Falcons from 2007 to 2012 and the Cardinals in 2013 and 2014, has three prior arrests. He was arrested in 2003 on DWI charges on Long Island, N.Y.; in September 2012 on obstruction charges in Atlanta; and in June 2014 on DUI charges in DeKalb County, Ga.
