What is it about Golson that has media so starry eyed??

I can't believe ESPN thinks Golson is on the list to be ACC offensive player of the year. There's a reason why he isn't returning to South Bend and that his lost his starting slot last year.

There are a lot of better choices. I'd pick Shadrach Thornton before I'd pick Golson.

All it takes is Clemson beating FSU and they will change their tune. Until then the Noles are the team to beat. I guess they think with all the talent FSU has Golson will just fit right in?

With most media outlets, if you have SEC, Notre Dame, or SoCal attached to your name, you are instant rock star whether you have earned it or not. Southern Cal is starting to lose its luster a little bit but the other two venues are hero status to the ESPN types in this country.

I didn't watch a lot of ND football, but what I did see he wasn't a star QB in a number of ways. And once he decided not to return I started reading a lot of opinions about his problems.
