I haven't been there in a few years, but there are a couple of nice courses just to the west,
in Berlin, MD.
I'm not crazy about OC, but the golf is fun. Just up the highway in Bethany Beach, DE is a pretty good place to eat..Mango Mike's. Bethany is a bit like stepping back in time...although it was much more like that 10-15 years ago.
Have fun...I do love the Eastern Shore.

Playing rum pointe, bay club west and ocean pines. How's the weather? They claim "humid". South-humid or pleasant? Any good night spots for 38+?

It's 60 degrees now and no humidity. You could get some humidity if coming in the summer, but the courses are on/near the water so there will be plenty of breezes. Rum Pointe is a nice track and sits on the bay. Expect winds, especially on the waterfront holes.
Plenty of nightspots, but you may want to choose based on where you are staying. Lots of nice seafood restaurants (I like Sunset Grille) and bars in West OC (near Rum Pointe). Ocean Pines is closer to midtown - Seacrets, Fagers Island, Mackeys are all bayfront and cater to all ages, though Seacrets may have the youngest crowd. For a point of reference, Seacrets posted a sign that it was already full at 11:30 this morning and there were still 200+ waiting outside to get in. Plenty of smaller places too - Liquid Assets, Crabcake Factory, OC Brewing, etc.
