It's incredible that Cordeleone didn't get in years ago. I'd say that Yauger is a borderline HOF inductee, but it seems like a lot in that category are gettin in the last few years.

I watched him play. He was a very good runner, but a lot of the credit goes to he linemen he ran behind, which included Wayne Mass and Harry O.

Think Mass & Harry O were just before Rays time.

1966 was their last season of playing......
None the less since when did we penalize players for playing with other great players?

Yauger never started when Mass and Olzewski were here.

Yauger was a back up to Buddy Gore and then got a chance to shine when Gore got hurt in 1968. By then Mass and Olzewski were gone.

course couldn't play on the varsity as Frershmen. Buddy Gore came that same year and was the starting back most of that time - at least his last couple of years - a stud. I remember Ray as an underclassman and I saw him in several games, so that had to be in 68, the year I graduated. Because of going into there Marine Corps, I did not see Tiger football for several years. Harry O was about 5'10 - 130 Lbs. and Mass was 6-4" - 240 (huge at the time). The weight lifting club had a better weight room than the football players, so some would occasionally come by. Ray was a regular, Mass came once in a while - never say Harry O!

It must get waived fairly often ... there are a significant number of HOF inductees who don't have a college degree from Clemson or anywhere else.
