Mike Eppley was smooth as silk when he played. He led the nation in passing efficiency and was a great southpaw qb.

Mike was indeed a superb QB. He was also a member of the basketball team if my memory has not failed me,
Go Tigers!

Greene and Lucky were both righties.
How does anyone remember Lucky? Never played a down did he?
Couldn't stay out of trouble. .....

Eppley was probably the best option QB we ever had at Clemson, IMO, from the pitch standpoint. I can't remember a bad pitch to the trailing back. And, he would do it without even looking; he just knew where the trailing back was, and I was there when Fuller and Homer QB'd.
