He shouldn't be allowed to transfer to a future schedule team.

Mar 31, 2015, 3:30 PM

That being said. I wish him luck

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I hope they take him..

Mar 31, 2015, 3:36 PM

He isn't that talented, so I hope they use a scholarship on him.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

C'mon now...I don't think it's a matter of him not being

Mar 31, 2015, 7:54 PM

talented, but the sheer amount of talent that was around him. He may not have been AS talented as some of the guys we've had and currently have, but we've been recruiting WRs at pretty high level for a while now. Look at Sammy and Martavis in the NFL, then look at the talent we've recruited since then and the guys we continue to bring in. I think we could have won our share of games with Kitt, maybe not our premiere receiver, but an integral cog and solid player for most D1 universities.

We are a legit WR U.

we used one on him, was he not that talented then or just a BAD evaluation?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Didnt know the Coots used one on him

Apr 1, 2015, 6:42 PM

Thanks Lead Coot!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He is a talented player, but we really are WRU

Apr 1, 2015, 10:40 PM [ in reply to I hope they take him.. ]

with those 2 guys coming in (you know who im talking about) he prob wouldn't see much pt and wants an opportunity elsewhere. He thanked the coaches and the team so no bad blood with me.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He wasn't

Mar 31, 2015, 3:39 PM [ in reply to He shouldn't be allowed to transfer to a future schedule team. ]

he transferred to Mississippi Gulf Coast CC, after this season he can enroll wherever he wants and Clemson has no control over it. Chad Kelly could've gone to South Carolina if he'd wanted to and they offered him.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They did offer him I thought

Mar 31, 2015, 4:09 PM

But even he knew it was a cesspool, and that's saying something.

He is no longer tied to Clemson he can transfer where ever he wants...

Allowed by who...Clemson?

Mar 31, 2015, 4:22 PM [ in reply to He shouldn't be allowed to transfer to a future schedule team. ]

Once he complies with the one-year sit out requirement, Clemson has absolutely no say or control in the matter.

I would hope that a former Clemson kid would have more sense than to go to auburn, but good luck wherever he goes as long as it's not against us

Auburn and Louisville always finish 1 2 in the problem child recruiting ranks.

Re: Demarre Kitt

Mar 31, 2015, 6:52 PM

We should support Kitt. He's transferring because he didn't think he'd play, not because he punched a bouncer (or any other nonsense) I don't believe that he's a "problem child"

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Please explain how Kitt was a problem child

Mar 31, 2015, 7:15 PM [ in reply to Re: Demarre Kitt ]

he didn't get kicked off the team, he left because Clemson wasn't a good fit for me (i.e. playing time). I wish him nothing but the best aside from if/when he plays us.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Re: Please explain how Kitt was a problem child

Mar 31, 2015, 7:25 PM

Agree! He's also very active in social media! (Supportive of Clemson) let's not give him a reason to trash us as fans

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Demarre Kitt reminds me alot of Bryce McNeal

Mar 31, 2015, 4:02 PM

Both are about the same size, skill set and ability.

Both had a hard transition to the college level, and needed a
couple years to develop. Something Kitt didn't give enough time
to figure out.

I hope he finds a good place that suits him.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Hard to draw that comparison

Mar 31, 2015, 4:43 PM

We saw McNeal try to play at this level, haven't really seen Kitt yet.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

IMO

Apr 1, 2015, 5:40 PM

the reason Kitt didn't play more, he was too fragile.
Seem he really hated contact.

But...
wish him the best.

Wish him the best of luck wherever he goes.

Mar 31, 2015, 4:07 PM

No reason to wish ill-will on a kid pursuing his dreams.
