at Lenoir Ryhne College. Definitely not a working man's hands. Felt like a violin or piano player's hands.

Used to bump into him a the gas station in central, accidentally called him Rick one time. He did not seem to mind, very friendly guy. he also had a weird light in his eyes, never met anyjuan like him before or since.

Barnes was at Clemson. He said Barnes used to donate shoes to the L-R team. I don't know if he still donates them or not but he thought pretty highly of Coach Barnes.

He and his wife own a home on the coast near where I live and they have been very active in supporting Tara Hall home for boys outside of Georgetown. I know when they first found out about the situation at Tara Hall they spent time and money to help this wonderful and special place! I believe he is still a very generous man.

D2...That's exactly right. I have seen articles locally(I live in Lake City not too far from Tara Hall and have boated many times on Mingo Creek where the boy's home is located)and not only has he donated money to the cause, he has spent whole weeks there working. That speaks pretty well for him in my book. If anyone wants to read the story, here it is.
