How could Clemson , THE football school, have ever gotten Larry Nance, Tree Rollins, KJ McDaniels, Horace Grant,KC Rivers, Cliff Hammonds, Will Solomon, Vernon Hamilton and Devin Booker except for the fact that they want to compete with the very best.

The very best is in the ACC.

Football has a ton of players on the field, basketball only has five.

A kid wanting to be seen as one of the 5 best players on 14 or so teams would really look at that .

It is surely a selling point

Meanwhile we watch the Wichita States, VCUs, and Butlers of the world make Final Four runs when Clemson has never sniffed it. We watch Notre Dame, Miami, and Florida State win ACC basketball championships when Clemson has nary a one.

I pull for Puke only bc I was in one of their drug studies several years back that did save my life. There is only one team I pull for against puke, and that is our Clemson!!!

I had Blue Devils vs Badgers in one of my brackets , and Duke vs UK in the other . I like my chances , lol.
