I cannot speak about Barnes after Clemson, only about his time here. Yes he got success, however he was also an abusive coach to his players. For those of us around the program, I will never forget how he treated his players. When he left Clemson, he also called the education system around Clemson for his children a backwater kind of environment.
I do not wish him any ill will, but I also hope he never steps foot back on the Clemson Campus. He was not a good man.
