upscale personal make-up, energy, ideas, sternness, teaching manner, experience, loyalty to his players (and vice-versa)..and because he actually loves what he's doing..and where he's doing it.

He is 'all in' and everyone can see it, feel it, feel it, taste it. That is a very infectious thing. It feeds itself. No one wants to let anyone else down, so they are hyper focused and committed to doing whatever it takes.

The thing these guys will need to help make them hardened is some adversity to have to fight through. Typically, it can't all be positive without the downside of getting too full of yourself. It is human nature. What typically makes you special is your ability to have perspective and resilience when things are not going so well. It won't always be sunny. The rain will come. How you handle that challenge will temper the steel.

If there was ever a coach on the staff who gets this and can instill this into his players approach to not only the game of football but to life in general, it is coach Steele. I said this 2 years ago after watching him for only a short while, we are lucky to have him.

You could just tell the difference between him and just Morris too. BV just seems genuine and humble about life, not just driven by football. Football is the canvas he uses to express his attitude about how you take on life challenges and persevere and have no fear and put in the effort and simply put, just give a darn about what you choose to spend your time doing! Forget the $, forget the glory or fame, forget what others may think of you. Immerse yourself, dedicate yourself, focus, learn, care, help.
