The Dabo Effect!

So, I think a lot if Clemson fans look at how Dabo changed and improved the football program and expect the same with the basketball program.
I would argue that attitude, passion, and a vision are what pushed the football program in the right direction. It started with the Dandy Dozen and riding guys like CJ, but Dabo sold the dream if being part if something bigger.
Others will say that facilities, talent, and coaching are the first priorities, but I believe all those come with a vision and passion to be a better program.

I think it isn't too much to ask that our basketball be at least NCAA tournament level most years.
Losing to Winthrop ? G Webb ? Brownell is a good coach I guess , but wouldn't it be nice to hire someone who actually MADE the donuts , rather than just passed them out ?

Historically we have not been a good program so what has changed which would make you think we be on the dance card every year? Dabo changed the football program with vision and passion but he had past football achievement to use as a selling point. We also invested millions on football facilities and coaches to help implement Dabo's vision. Up until now we have not invested in Basketball and cant generate enough interest for the students to show up for games so why do you think we can get top recruits to come to Clemson to play basketball?

I am truly conflicted over donuts.
On one hand, they are tasty morsels filled and topped with delicious treats.
On the other hand, they are fat filled fried death traps hellbent on sending me to an early grave.
If there was another point in your post, then sorry I missed it. Analogies or other donut references should be banned.

The donut reference was pre-coffee me. The post-coffee me agrees , donuts good -donut to basketball coaching analogy bad.
