why didn't the powers in charge of the Rocks protection....

why didn't the powers that be in charge of the Rocks protection not elect to, at the very least, use bullet proof glass in the part of the housing/casing that is glass? You would have thought that what happened the last time with the Rock actually being damaged that it would have woken up all involved and a solution would have been put in place that would have never allowed anything like this to occur again. The Rock is irreplaceable and if it gets damaged beyond repair or God forbid stolen this University would be a laughing stock for allowing it to happen and for letting one of the best college football traditions of the last 50+ years to be ruined. We are Clemson and Clemson is THE ROCK.

ever since Barker was prez since 99, and some of it is continuing under Clements.

If their just going to install cheap camera's, they just need to make the pedestal removable, and just put it at the top the hill for games and other special events.
