ESPN had an article which stated the pedestal has sensors to notify the police when damage occurs. If this is true, why did construction workers have to notify the police?

I think there is a lot of talk about security but precious little actally done. Open gates. No one monitoring the cameras. Maybe CU will wake up eventually. Hopefully before it is taken or destroyed

Clemson said they were going to install some sensors and send a live video feed 24/7 to CUPD. Either that wasn't done or it wasn't monitored.
