Expected match ups: (Clemson player listed first)

1. 68 Hunter Harrington vs 71 Thiago Pinheiro
- these two played 3 years ago when both were freshmen at the #5 position. Pinheiro won that one. However I think Harrington is the favorite this time around

2. Alejandro Augusto vs Andrew Adams
- the gamecock is a slight favorite. Augusto isn't in the best form

3. Austin Ansari vs 118 Kyle Koch
- Ansari won the match between these two last year 7-6 6-2. Ansari played well in the kickoff weekend. This will be a tight matchup.

4. Luke Johnson vs 83 Andrew Schafer
- Schafer is the favorite here

5. Hampton Drake vs Harrison O'Keefe
- battle of freshman. Drake from Hilton head and O'Keefe from Virginia. Toss up

6. Daffra Sanon vs Thomas Mayronne
- another toss up match. Mayronne the freshman from Monroe Louisiana and Sanon the transfer from Washington.

Last year Clemson beat South Carolina 4-1 in Clemson. This year in Columbia I really don't know what to expect. Clemson should win at 1 and 3. The gamecocks are favored at 2 and 4.
5-6 and doubles will decide this.
