Clemson vs. Carolina schedules, toughest to easiest:

1. FSU home vs. UGA away - push 2. ND home vs. Clemson home - push 3. GT home vs. LSU home - tough call, GT loses a lot but LSU lost Chavis, say a push 4. Louisville away vs. Missouri away - Slightly tougher for us, imo. 5. Miami away vs. A&M away - push as both are very talented but underachieved last year 6. South Carolina away vs. UT away - Slightly tougher for coots as UT slightly better than Coots 7. State away vs. UF at home - Slightly tougher for Coots as I think UF will be better than State 8. BC at home vs. UNC on neutral field - Slightly tougher for us but very close 9. 'Cuse away vs. UCF at home - Slightly tougher for coots 10. Wake at home vs. UK at home - tougher for Coots 11. App State at home vs. Vandy at home - slightly tougher for coots 12. Wofford at home vs. El Cid at home - slightly tougher for us.
Coots have tougher games by a 5-3 margin with 4 pushes but they have to play us and we have to play them so take that away and it'd be 5-4. Also, because we are perceived to be better, it makes some of their games appear tougher.
All in all our schedules are very close in how tough they are and who really knows how good the opponents will be. I see LSU, GT, A&M, Missouri, Louisville, UT, and UF having a lof of question marks but with the potential to have special seasons if everything goes right.

Their games are tougher because they suck.

Put us against that schedule and we win more games than them, bank on it. Them losing 6 games to better teams is absolutely nothing to be proud of.

I see #6 to 7-6 to 3-9. Their team is decimated.***

Considering the huge #'s of non-qualifiers they've had

the past two recruiting classes, the early departures and defections from lettermen this year, and the number of quality decootments they experienced ahead of this NSD, you're spot on... SCar is sorely lacking in quality D-1 talent, and they lack key depth throughout their roster which is going to kill them late in games.
I would put the over/under on wins for them at 4 this season, and not sure how much that will change in the near future considering their roster management struggles.

I didn't think $CU started playing football until 2009

but since you asked, the 1964 Minnesota team finished 5 - 4with losses to Nebraska (26 - 21), Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin and wins against Cal, Northwestern, Indiana, Iowa, and Purdue.
The 64 Capon team was 3-5-2. They lost to Maryland, Nebraska (28 - 6), Florida, North Carolina and NC State. They beat elCid, Wake Forest and Clemson, and tied Duke and Georgia.
All told, IMO $CU would have finished no better than 5 - 4 against Minnesota's 1964 schedule but probably more like 4 - 5 if not 3 - 6 with the other likely losses being to Cal, Iowa and Purdue.

considering that your defense will not be significantly better and your offense will take a pretty big step backwards. You'll beat the scrubs on the schedule but you'll struggle against any team with a pulse.

They're big but they're slow and unathletic. Our defense slung them around like a bunch of rag dolls.

USuCk has the tougher schedule, hands down.

The season will be over before this is settled correctly and accurately. Whoever loses the most games is the winner, right? Clemson looses the looser contest this season.
We've got a proven QB, RB and WR corp, that alone puts us a mile behind USuCk in this competition. The incoming class isn't going to help us either.
