Check the CV's of some of the signatories and you'll find the liberal schools of which you speak! Thank Jim barker for his push to liberalize the school in order to get a subjective Top 20 ranking by a news magazine.

I would probably guess that most these signatures are the same 80 that does not like Tillman Hall. Like someone said, find another school to attend if you don't like Clemson.

Sounds to me like affirmative action, but they want to segragate themselves actually by having a place specifically only for them...funny how that works.
They don't want to fit in & be a part of Clemson, but would rather have their own thing & draw racial lines & such.
I don't see people of color at Clemson, or their persuasion...
I see students & people!!!
Maybe they should try that too, instead of pointing themselves out as different, yet screaming that everyone else is labeling them and such nonsense.
If you dress like a goth freak with crazy hair or clothes in a more normal & conservative environment where others dont...people are gonna stare.
solution: don't draw attention to yourself & you won't have to face the ridicule.
Diversity is about everyone getting together & getting along, being in it together...not separating yourself & pointing out your differences.
One Clemson!
Crazy how a few bad apples can spoil the bunch. They're just stirring the pot...

I was putting together my thoughts to post and read yours. I couldn't have said it better. Why does anyone need special facilities because of race or sexual orientation. Their goal "supposedly" is to be included and not treated differently. These liberal professors need to be sent packing and get their ### out of Clemson. All In as One student body and fan base regardless.

Agreed...sorta. In fact, Freedom of Speech, guaranteed by the Constitution also applies to stupid people. Most of their requests are wrong-headed and only slightly tyrannical. But the Constitution guarantees their right to be dumb. And it works both ways, Criminal prosecution for social media post? Ridiculous, unless they added it since I was there, there isn't a "check this box if you waive your constitutional rights' on the Admissions application.
Everyone wan't to feel that what they think matters. This is their way. Unfortunately, they don't matter.

I guess they overlooked an increase in the percentage of MAJORITY ATHLETES. We have an ALL BLACK BBall team (well maybe one white guy on the bench). At least 70% of FB athletes are Black. Somehow they always only see THEIR side of the equation.
Eventually, White people are gonna get totally pissed off with that attitude.
