worst part about our schedule

is the placement of the open date. After playing Louisville on a Thursday night we would have already had a long week to prepare for the next game. Would have loved to have had the break between Notre Dame and Georgia Tech instead or somewhere further down the schedule

Agreed, if the ACC would have done that for us - fat chance.

And, we should have scheduled App State or Wofford as the game before playing the coots. Poor job on the part of our Athletic Department. Playing a tough league opponent (tougher than Wofford or App State) in a must win game before playing the coots is just stupid. Last year we finally got smart and played a weak, non-league opponent before the coot game.

Some 5 or 6 years ago the coots scheduled a weak, out of league opponent (or open date) before playing us, and look how that worked out for them - 5 straight wins. They put everything into the final game and we don't do the same.

Wise up Clemson.

35-17 & not even truly indicative score for the game...we kicked the coots @sses!!!

If we're good enough & tough & deep enough, that won't matter...
