who may be the only objective, level-headed and rational Gamecock fan in existence (he's certainly the ONLY ONE I've ever met), says it's time for Spurrier to retire. He firmly believes that Spurrier has taken the program as far as he can and that there's really no point for him to stay any longer. He started saying that right after the intoxicated coaching show incident. He wants Gary Patterson from TCU.

Disagree, I think it is better for us the longer he stays

He seems to have lost the fire he had, and no wonder since he is 70. Let's hope he does keep on keeping on there, like he was almost forced to do for recruitment purposes.

He'll leave either after this year or 2016 when they have bad years....and they WILL have bad years, 2015 probably being the worst. They win 4 games at best. His ego will not allow him to continue. He doesn't want to be there at this very minute.
